Reflection
I feel that the PT is a tiring process but it helps us to think creatively. Our group constantly discussed online and we posted our force-fitting mind-maps in a Google document. We helped one another to think of adaptations for force-fitting. Also, after we have finished with our first draft of the force-fitting, we commented on one another's work to improve on everyone's work. Thereafter, one of my group members, Sarah and I met up and worked on our video. I was in charge of the powerpoint presentation and sarah editing the two videos. Creating the PowerPoint slides with animations was no mean feat and it took a lot of time. However, after finishing the PowerPoint, I felt very proud of my work. Most importantly, the PT made me research and think out of the box.

Adaptations that enable the organism fulfill
its role effectively in the food chain: [My organism has big and sharp claws to rip its
prey and eat it, and also to defend itself. Moreover, it has a useful and
unique hunting method. It has a special sticky substance which smells like the
producer to attract the primary consumer. When the primary consumer is trapped,
the secondary consumer will be attracted by it and gets trapped in the sticky
substance as well. It also has its eyes positioned in different angles so that
it can see in almost all direction. This helps it notice its prey or predator
faster, not when too late. My organism plays its role effectively in the food
chain as a tertiary consumer as it hunts primary and secondary consumer
effectively.]
Adaptations that enable the organism to survive
successfully in its habitat: [My organism has thick layer of blubber to keep it warm in the cold and
harsh weather of the habitat. It also has creased lines on its body to increase
friction between its body and the slippery ice. Its body colour is white so
that it can camouflage well into the white snow. It has a unique and useful
hunting method. A sticky substance which smells like the producer oozes out
from its tail and the primary consumer will be attracted to the smell. When it
gets near enough to touch the substance, it is trapped in the sticky substance.
After that, the secondary consumer will come hunting for food, the primary
consumer and when it gets near enough to the substance, it also will not be
able to free itself from the substance. Then, my organism will come and eat
both up with its big and sharp claws. By this method, my organism can hunt for
food much easily. Furthermore, to protect itself, it has a sharp point shooting
out of its mouth to inject a poisonous substance into a predator’s body. The fact
that it has long body will also help in digesting any poison just like a snake
does. Also, its rock hard body prevents preys or predators from hurting its
body. Its eyes are positioned in different angles, to enable it to notice prey
or predator easily. This helps it to react faster, hiding from its prey or
predator, increasing its chance of survival.]

Draft 2
Comments:
Hong Yee: Ji Won, i think the part about the long body thingy a bit wrong. The long body does not digest poison, its smth in the body that digests poison. The long body part is too vague. The part of the black skin thingy should say how the blackskin keeps it warm, not just saying that the black skin will keep it warm. N i think you should add in more adaptations. a bit too little.
Sarah: What about defence mechanisms?
Yi Yin: I think ur organism still looks alot like a pen. Never really change alot.
Conghui: i think the camouflage part should be white in colour cos tundra biome is very cold so there should be a lot of snow unless that organisms lives only in dark places
Bohui: I think that rather than having a skin that traps air, you could have a thick layer of fur to trap air, and the skin can be filled with fats to keep the organism warm.
